A healthcare practice in North Carolina is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join our team! This is a year long opportunity with excellent compensation and covered travel and lodging.
Practice Setting
Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent, and Pediatric patient panel
Two inpatient units with a combined patient volume; shared with another on-site psychiatrist
Behavioral Medicine Unit (BMU) is 18 beds
Geropsychiatric Unit (Gero) is 12 beds
Responsibilities
Admissions and rounding on assigned patients
Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, families, and consultants
Participation in care meetings
Ability to flex to ED or medical consults if needed
