Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team. The role involves assessing the functional needs of physically disabled patients and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with physicians to ensure patients receive the best care and support in their recovery.

This position offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and housing allowance.

Hours

Acute Rehab Unit Only: Tuesday-Saturday (5 x 8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (4 x 10-hour shifts).
Acute Rehab/Inpatient Units: Tuesday-Saturday (5 x 8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (4 x 10-hour shifts), shared equally between the Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient units.
Shift Differentials:

Evening Shift (3pm–11:30pm) = 8%
Night Shift (11:00pm–7:30am) = 11%
No Weekend Differential.

Primary Duties

Objectively and quantitatively assess each patient's baseline level of self-care function, including cognitive, sensory-motor, and activities of daily living.
Establish functional treatment goals based on patient assessments and treatment diagnoses.
Implement dynamic treatment programs to progress towards and achieve patient outcome goals.
Demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to their developmental status and age.


Minimum Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Bachelor’s degree required).
Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Idaho (applications accepted before graduation/licensure).
Current BLS certification.
Previous Acute Care experience.
