Staff Software Engineer (multiple positions available)

Riot Games, Inc. has multiple positions available for Staff Software Engineer in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Duties: Accountable for the technical direction for the back-end development for a globally scalable, highly available, cross-platform suite of services. Review architecture design, technical solution, and critical code that is put into the codebase. Collaborate with Prod/Live operations team to develop tools for operational excellence, such as log generation and log content verbosity for various environments. Coach junior engineers on general software development skills, mindset and practice. Set foundations for the game to succeed for the next decade. Ensure adherence to global privacy and security standards. Manage the team’s process for delivering high-quality experiences to players, lifting the expertise and skills of people around. This position is based out of Riot Games, Inc.'s office in Los Angeles, California. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance of this location. Periodic on-site attendance will be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in software engineering, or related occupation.

Salary Range: $183,300 - $256,600 per year.
