Software Engineer (multiple positions available)

Riot Games, Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Duties: Build first-class web applications that leverage distributed systems to enhance Riot’s products and drive a cohesive multi-platform experience that powers all games at Riot. Partner with product owners and technical leads to build and operate software features end-to-end. Provide high-quality software by writing and automating unit, functional, and integration tests. Create documentation to facilitate the operation and maintenance of features and tools. Perform code reviews and practice pair programming with peers on the engineering team. Invest in team’s complete ownership of products by participating in on-call rotation work with Riot technologies and creating new solutions to overcome high-volume obstacles. Use React to build immersive web experiences for players across the globe. Analyze player-facing features, determine needs in the communication layer between front-end and back-end, and implement solutions to meet the identified needs. Build web experiences across a wide variety of products including Accounts and Identity, Personalized Content, and Web Stores. Collaborate with product teams to create front-end software designs and develop playerfacing features in League of Legends. Work with content teams to determine and implement tools or improvements needed to bring new content into the League of Legends store, loot, and missions experiences. Perform technical discovery, consisting of prototyping, prioritizing, and estimating work, for large features and tasks. This position is based out of Riot Games, Inc.'s office in Los Angeles, CA. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance of this location. Periodic on-site attendance will be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in the field of Software Development, Program Analysis, or related occupation.

Experience can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement and work experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Salary: $153,800 - $216,200 per year.
