Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET/CT Technologist -

Great opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine tech to sit for the NMTCB(CT) boards, as a student, enrolled with College of Health Professions.
Rotating schedule 8-hour day
Occasional overtime
No weekends or call
Location: Syracuse, NY
Great working environment in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department at Specialty Services Center.
Private office with M-F rotating schedule between the hours of 6am and 5pm.

Job Summary:

Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department
Calculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopes
Instructs patients on proper exam preparations
Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient.
Performs all required quality control procedures
Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License, current CPR certification. NO PET experience necessary, will train.
NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT)
