TITLE: Associate
JOB DETAILS: ASSIST PRINCIPAL WITH PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES IN A PROJECT MANAGER ROLE FOR MULTIPLE PROJECTS. REPORT DIRECTLY TO PRINCIPAL ON ALL PROJECT ISSUES, CONFLICTS AND BUDGET CONCERNS ENSURE ALL DEADLINES AND DELIVERABLES ARE MET AS REQUIRED BY THE PROJECT AND AS DIRECTED BY PRINCIPAL. FORECAST HOURS/EFFORT NEEDED FOR ASSIGNED PROJECT. REPORT ON PROJECT DELIVERABLES FOR UPCOMING WEEKS. REPORT ON OVERALL PROJECT SCHEDULE AND RELATIONSHIP WITH CLIENTS. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT, DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION, DESIGN DOCUMENTATION, FACILIATE WEEKLY MEETING, REVIEW OF UPCOMING MEETINGS AND AGENDAS, MEETING ATTENDANCE AND TAKING MEETING NOTES, DOCUMENT/GRAPHICS COORDINATION. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND DRAWING COORDINATION. COLLABORATE WITH ASSOCIATES AND INTERNS ON ALL PHASES OF WORK FOR MULTIPLE PROJECT TYPES. Responsible for 1-2 special projects (technology, office management, file management, etc.).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, ARCHITECTURE, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.
Special Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Management of landscape architecture projects through all phases, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation phases. 2. Experience selecting planting and hardscape materials. 3. Proficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Lumion, Bluebeam, or Revit. 4. Experience preparing site plans, technical details, and specifications for projects across multiple scales, including public parks, gardens, playgrounds, campuses, and mixed-use commercial developments. 5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to prepare client presentations, design studies, and construction documentations. 6. Experience in assessing new technologies and advising company regarding them. 7. Experience in AR VR integration within the workplace. 8. Experience in analyzing land conditions, including drainage, utility, and parcel ownership. MUST POSSESS EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE SUFFICIENT TO ADEQUATELY PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB BEING OFFERED. EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE MAY BE GAINED THROUGH EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION. SUCH EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE CANNOT BE "QUANTIFIED" BY "TIME." ***Hybrid Position***
JOB LOCATION: One Bowdoin Square, Suite 801, Boston, MA, 02114.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hrs/wk (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
SALARY OFFERED: $85,000 - $100,000 / year
