Job description
The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks and supporting skilled mechanics in repairing mobile equipment. This role ensures that equipment is kept in optimal working condition to maximize production.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist mechanics and skilled personnel with repairs on mobile equipment.
Perform mechanical work, including operating powered tools, hoists, and other mechanical equipment for repairs
Operate welding and torch equipment for basic repairs and cutting tasks.
Procure and transport parts, materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems and mobile equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Working Conditions:

Exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to walk, sit, lift, push, pull, and climb.
Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work safely around heavy machinery.
Pay:

$34.26/hr

Pay: $35.26 per hour
