Jr. Partner / Of Counsel Litigation
Location: Cleveland, OH


Our client, a leading AmLaw 65 firm, is seeking a Jr. Partner or Of Counsel to join their litigation team in Cleveland, Ohio(link removed) This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned litigator with extensive complex commercial litigation experience to join a dynamic and growing office.


Candidate Profile:



  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Bar Admission in Ohio (in good standing).

  • 10+ years of substantive experience in complex commercial and civil litigation, preferably in a large multinational law firm setting.

  • Proven success in state and federal courts, with strong research, writing, analytical, and deposition skills(link removed)>
  • Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to manage caseloads and deadlines efficiently.

  • A portable book of business is not required but would be a plus.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee all facets of complex commercial litigation within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer products sectors in both state and federal courts, addressing claims related to personal injury, wrongful death, and consumer fraud(link removed)>
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and persuasive motions, and argue them confidently before courts.

  • Conduct and defend depositions, develop effective deposition outlines and summaries, and manage document production and discovery phases.

  • Develop winning litigation strategies through collaboration with colleagues and experts, leveraging strong written and oral advocacy.

  • Attend mediation, prepare mediation briefs, and negotiate favorable settlements for clients.

  • Handle trial preparation and represent clients through every stage of litigation.

  • Manage caseload, deadlines, and priorities with a driven and motivated work ethic.
