Location: 100 Eleventh Street, Nanaimo, V9R 7A4
Term of Employment: Part-time (Perm & Temp)
Shift(s): 2 days on & 5 days off, 7am-3pm; 5 week rotation, 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am; 4 days on & 4 days off, 11pm-7am

Qualifications:

Graduation from a recognized Nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM.
Holds an active registration with the BCCNM as an RN.
Maintain Occupational First Aide Level 1 status.
Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
Nice to Haves:

Gerontological experience preferred.
MDS education (Gold Care or Point Click Care).
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
Conduct health screenings, education, and community outreach.
Utilize telehealth for remote care.
Maintain accurate patient records.
