Import Logistics Analyst (New York, NY): Research and analyze the current dynamics and trends in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry, as well as the rates, sales information, and marketing and servicing strategies of competitors. Maintain a robust long-term freight market view based on superior analysis of the logistics industry and market. Conduct ocean and air import process and transactional-based research and provide regulatory guidance relative to transactions. Review and recommend improvements to existing logistics processes. Develop and implement project management tools including plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices. Monitor activities related to coordination of shipment from origin to destination ensuring safe, economical, and timely delivery. Salary is $106,605.12 annually.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field and 1 year of experience as Import Logistics Analyst, Logistics Analyst, Logistics Management Analyst, or related position. Experience establishing logistics task priorities, tracking freight movement, and ensuring the availability of resources. Experience measuring effectiveness of logistics activities and practices. Experience utilizing project controls and estimation systems for logistics operations. Experience demonstrating global business development techniques, service knowledge, and engagement processes.
