Chen Tech, LLC is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to work in Miami Gardens, Florida.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with business units and technical teams to understand, develop, improve, and maintain BI systems; Transform data into metrics, automated reports, and dashboards providing actionable insights to improve decision-making at all levels of the business using strong data management skills and communicating directly with internal clients; Develop a deep familiarity with a variety of data sources including transactional databases, data warehouses, internal tools, and external integrations; Design and integrate data pipelines for enhanced data warehouse and data mart using ETL ((Extract, transform and Load) tools such as Oracle ODI, SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx, Informatica as well as other tools ensuring data quality and efficiency through SDLC and Agile practices; Specify, analyze, design, implement, and test BI solutions to meet business needs; Design interactive dashboards and delivered data insight reports using BI platforms like Qlik Sense, QlikView, Qlik NPrinting, OBIEE, Power BI as well as other tools to create data visualizations, KPIs, and trends, empowering decision-making across the organization; Take ownership of data and constantly improve its quality and integrity; proactively identifying issues at every step and coordinating the implementation of required fixes; Provide hands-on guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions to junior team members ensuring skills and expertise were constantly growing within the team; Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions; and Communicate technical concepts clearly, bridging the gap between data and business.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Analytics, or closely related field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·        Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or similar position in Analytics.

·        Three (3) years of experience with the following:

o  Designing and integrating data pipelines for enhanced data warehouse and data mart using Extract, Transform, and Load (“ETL”) tools such as Oracle ODI, SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx, Informatica as well as other tools ensuring data quality and efficiency through SDLC and Agile practices;

o  Designing interactive dashboards and delivering data insight reports using BI platforms like Qlik Sense, QlikView, Qlik NPrinting, OBIEE, Power BI as well as other tools to create data visualizations, KPIs, and trends, empowering decision-making across the organization;

o  Performing enhanced data warehouse by optimizing queries, indexing data, and implementing best practices;

o  Implementing data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security;

o  Delivering data summaries and performing data profiling to identify data anomalies and reports for Business Insights and provide recommendations regarding data-related decisions/projects;

o  Developing and automating routine data tasks and processes, reducing manual effort and increasing overall efficiency using through custom batch scripts using SQL, Shell Scripting and Python;

o  Maintaining and administrating the Business Intelligence Applications, system level security, system level performance monitoring and tuning and automation of production activities; and

o  Documenting data pipelines, reports, and processes for clarity and knowledge sharing.
