Vice President (Operational Risk Audit) for BNP Paribas RCC Inc., in Jersey City, NJ, to function as an Operational Risk Management Auditor within the Enterprise Risk Management Audit Team. Support the internal audit team to independently assess the effectiveness of the operational risk management framework, including governance, operational risk identification, assessment and measurement tools, risk and control self-assessments, key risk indicators, external loss data, business process mapping, monitoring, and reporting. Evaluate compliance with the Enhanced Prudential Standards requirements related to risk management and board governance for large and complex foreign banking organizations. Plan and conduct audit assignments, and supervise audit team members to independently assess the effectiveness of the operational risk management framework. Perform risk based audit reviews and recommend solutions to identified issues and problems within the organization.

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and seven (7) years’ experience in a Vice President (Operational Risk Audit) or a similar occupation within an audit or second line of defense function, or within financial services risk consulting, evaluating Operational Risk within the financial services industry or alternatively a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and five (5) years’ experience in a Vice President (Operational Risk Audit) or a similar occupation within an audit or second line of defense function, or within financial services risk consulting, evaluating Operational Risk within the financial services industry. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (“DE”) performing risk assessments, planning and conducting audit assignments, supervising auditors, forming audit opinions, and presenting them effectively in audit reports; DE managing Risk Management transformation or remediation projects for financial institutions; DE auditing operational risk management processes; DE using operational risk identification, assessment, and measurement tools; DE assessing risks and controls implemented by 1st and 2nd lines of defense functions in line with the Institute of Internal Auditors standards.
