Senior Business Analyst

Job Description:

Prepare workflows, process diagrams, and presentations by partnering with multiple teams. Create operational and executive metrics to increase program visibility and drive continuous improvement. Drive quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by partnering with cross functional team leaders to document/map business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements. Partner with technology and operations teams to identify process gaps and recommend changes. Collaborate across teams to understand and document business requirements using data analysis techniques. Lead Scrum meetings, and present project roadmaps to key stakeholders. Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from any Smartsheet registered location in the U.S.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field and three years of experience in: anticipating business needs by analyzing existing business systems using Swimlane and Value Stream map techniques, and preparing process maps using SAP Signovio and Lucidchart that include complex customizations and deployment, and identify actors, decisions and tasks involved in each step of the workflow; presenting project roadmaps to key stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional team leadership, using Excel and Jira, to drive and manage solution development processes and deliver common goals; preparing and updating key Functional Specification documents using Google Docs to describe critical processes, including Speed-Reversibility matrix, critical trend analysis, reports for leadership decision making; and leading Scrum meetings and handling end-to-end responsibilities, including Backlog Grooming, defining problem statements and acceptance criteria for each user story, preparing test data and test scenarios, handling technical demos, Stakeholder sign offs, deployment communication, and post-deployment issue handling. Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. Salary Range: $121,300 to $132,500 per year.
