PEDALPOINT HOLDINGS, LLC is looking for an Investment Associate.

Job Duties
• Lead and contribute to the full cycle of M&A investment process from sourcing, due diligence, negotiation to closing in the materials recycling industry and other related industries. Conduct in-depth deal evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, industry research in support of investment and partnership opportunities in North America. Apply advanced level knowledge to conduct financial analysis and build financial models and other detail-oriented analysis, including DCF, LBO, accretive/dilutive analysis, shareholder value creation, NPV/IRR analysis. Closely track market transactions, conduct relative valuation using trading comps and precedent transaction methods. Monitor and analyze factors that impact business performance, including industry dynamics, competitive landscape, regulatory update, and macro and micro economic environment. Prepare in-depth business presentations and memos for leadership reporting. Actively manage daily operations and strategic planning of the existing portfolio company, Igneo Technologies, and future portfolio companies. Lead day-to-day project management, coordination, and development of workstreams, deliverables, and initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirement

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting and fundamental analysis, or a closely related field.
• One and a half years of finance related experience with: 1) M&A process from sourcing, bidding, diligence, valuation, negotiation to closing, 2) portfolio company management and operations, 3) commodity and e-scrap recycling markets, and 4) metal refinery and smelter businesses, as an Investment Associate, Investment Banking Analyst, or in a related occupation.
• Experience in developing sophisticated financial models in excel, including three statement projection, DCF, LBO, NPV/IRR valuation, accretive/dilutive analysis, capital raising, JV investing, credit analysis/underwriting, liquidity management, etc.
• Experience with: Factset, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, SQL, VBA, and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Razor and Netsuite. Strong knowledge may be gained through educational coursework, training, or experience.

Job Type: 40 hrs, 5 days (Full-time)

Salary: $170000/Year
