SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a Administrative Assistant to work for a 100+ year old manufacturer in Syracuse, NY. Our client is seeking an individual capable of providing excellent customer service by answering phones, doing order entry, providing qoutes/invoices and doing occassional clergical tasks. In addition, your role would involve offering assistance, addressing customer inquiries by leveraging your product expertise, and recording all customer data. This is a direct hire role, the hours are 8:00a 5:00p with no overtime. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy customer service and are looking for a career opportunity, please apply! We are looking to interview immediately. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and customer support by answering incoming calls over the phone and via email
- Support the sales, marketing and operations team by ulitizing good organizational skills
- Enter orders in the system along with important customer information
- Prepare quotes, provide invoices, track order status's and follow up with customers promptly
- Address customer inquiries using product knowledge when needed
- File, scan, photo copy and enter documentation as needed and other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree is preferred in Business Administration or similar is preferred
- 2-5+ years of customer service, sales or restaurant experience is strongly preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite and Windows experience is required
- 1+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience is strongly preferred
