Executive Assistant/Project Manager to Principal Managing Attorney, Boutique Law firm, Middlesex County, CT, Local Remote



Our client, a boutique law firm that specializes in renewable energy projects, located in Middlesex County, Ct is looking for an Executive Assistant/Project Manager to support the main principal Managing Attorney. This is a local remote role where you may go into the office occasionally and also meet up with the legal team in various locales in the area. The ideal candidate is mature and reliable with at least 3-5 years of experience working in an administrative capacity ideally focused on spearheading and updating outstanding projects. Experience working with (link removed) or any other project management software highly desired.


About the Job:


Support the main Principal Managing Attorney by handling his calendar, scheduling regular meeting and Teams meetings with internal legal team and clients; experience setting up meetings in different time zones a PLUS


Be responsible for project management of all outstanding initiatives with clients including contracts, regulatory issues and filings


Using Excel, update and track client activities, no advanced Excel required


Interact regularly with clients and legal team


Prepare and update presentations for client meetings


Handle travel arrangements and expense reporting


The interest and ability for learning the intricacies of renewable energy bid auction offerings by electric distribution companies and state agencies including gathering and facilitating all required supporting bid documentation.


Regular hours, 9:00-5:00 PM


Base salary,401K Match to 5%, Health Benefits can be offset by a stipend monthly toward a health plan on the exchanges


About You:


3-5 years experience as an Executive Assistant/Project Manager with an interest in renewable energy


Bachelors Degree


The discipline to work remotely


Poise to engage and work with major clients effectively


Excellent project management skills; experience with (link removed) or other project management software highly desired


Very detail oriented and organized, always looking to cross the ts to make sure all is done right the first time


Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, Acrobat Adobe Pro and Adobe skills; overall tech savvy


Excellent written and verbal communication skills


A polished, positive cheerful attitude that knows how to get things done with minimal intervention over time
