Technical/Functional Skills :-

Solid experience with VB6, VB.Net(2003-2010), TSQL, ASP.Net, Windows server 2003-2008, and SQL Server 2000-2012, Crystal Reporting

• .Net Code Fix/ Enhancements, Database issues fix / support

• Able to work in a 24x7 environment and provide support from home during off-hours

• Able to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet critical business needs

• Provide time tracking weekly and details on demand to supervisor/manager

• Capable of working both independently and with teams to resolve issues as quickly as possible

• Self-starter that will look to improve system reliability and prevent future issues

• Good oral and written communication skills including technical documentation and requirements

• Experience in creating windows server applications, GUI design, multi-tier architecture, and Object Oriented programming principles and methodologies.

• Experience in supporting an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.

 

Experience Required:-

 

Proven experience as a .Net Developer

·        Expertise with the ASP.Net framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

·        Knowledge of at least one of the .Net languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .Net)

·        Should have experience in the Re-Platform, deployment and migration of applications

·        Should have sound knowledge on interfaces with upstream systems like SAP , middleware and downstream systems

·        SQL server database experience

·        Experience with RYS application support

·        Manufacturing Domain knowledge.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:-

This position will work day to day with a global support team to deliver reliable MES application services to our manufacturing organization. This work will include providing 1st and 2nd level escalated support for user / system issues involving the Shop Floor application as well as bug fixes and small enhancements. The work requires the ability to analyze a given problem, diagnose it and find its root cause, and then either present a feasible workaround or pass the proposed solution to the Product Manager or Technical Lead for approval.
