Hours:

• Primary shift is rotating shift.


• Includes weekend coverage and some flex.


• Average work week will be between 40 - 48 hours with the possibility of overtime.

Scope:

• Requires moderate understanding of the general aspects of the job and a familiarity with terminology and procedures.


• Follows previously defined procedures.


• Refers atypical or complex problems to others.


• Works well under limited supervision.


• Provided instructions for routine work.


• Recommends actions to improve efficiency.


• Able to perform duties within prescribed timeframes and maintain confidentiality.


• Contacts are primarily within the immediate work group.

Qualifications:

• Beginner/intermediate MS Excel


• Hands on mechanical aptitude


• Technical degree (AAS or higher)

Requirements:

• Primary responsibility is to support monitoring of kiln equipment and firing process for the Division Engineering Firing Center which is a 24/7 operation.


• Also support of engineering experiments including ware handling & processing, measurements, prep work, sample tracking, data collection & entry and minor preventive maintenance work.

This is a contract position.

• Location: USA - NY - Painted Post


• Duration of contract: 6 Months 


• Education/ Experience: 2 year degree or higher required, technical discipline is preferred ,1-3 Years
