Position: Techniocal PM Azure/DevOps/DB
Location: Remote Eastern Timezone
Contract Term: 1yr – 1.5 yrs
Start date: Asap
Client: BASF
USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD (H1-B with 2 YEARS VISA VALIDITY)
Mandatory:
· 3-5+ years experience as Technical Project Manager
· Hands on managing projects related to Azure and DevOps (implementation, migration, integration, automation improvement, etc.)
· Has business acumen to understand business needs, requirements and process documentation (Visio) and can assist in translation to tech requirements to work with IT department to identify the system to achieve business needs and strategy goals
· Will need to learn the SAP part number creation process, currently our system uses disjoined legacy part numbers, thus will need move towards a single source of truth.
· Identify all systems and processes impacted - business acumen is highest priority and technical would be supported by our IT teams that will be part of the requirements assessments on what is the best direction to move forward and how various systems would work together - this should go to one database (Tech Hero) and then Bizaggi, MS applications, etc
· Prefer a person with technical experience with data structures, data migration projects, and data harmonization across multiple systems and sites.
· An example project will be: We need to migrate our legacy Part Spec. Database. We have many “parts” systems (including Lotus Notes) that are disconnected, and need to bring them all together as one project with a strong project manager and project lead.
· Optional: Some experience with Database projects including data mining, etc.
· Prefer data structure, migration, harmonization across multiple systems; Consolidation, migration from legacy multiple systems, bringing together, lots of different parts systems. They are disconnected.
· Ownership of project, maybe handling more than one project
· Flex hours due to EMEA and ASIA based meetings, thus prefer 6am ET start time for EMEA meetings and late evening hours EST for ASIA meetings
· Strong communication and leadership skills, Agile ways of working, ability to work within global and diverse teams, since of urgency, task completion oriented
