Cloud Lake Technology is looking for someone to join our team who has a Ruby, Python and Ansible background that can provide Automation and Systems Engineering in order to support one of our current government customers! 

Responsibilities:

 

• Support transformation of established infrastructure using automation; Support building new systems environments, and upgrading/patching existing ones, through use of automation tooling.


• Provide hands-on support for the ongoing development of Infrastructure-As-Code (IAC) and support operation and engineering team.


• Responsible for analyzing infrastructure automation requirements and code development.


• Willingness to be trained on Ansible open-source software.


• Willingness to be trained on Red Hat CloudForms.


• Working with Red Hat products, virtualization, API development, middleware, storage, messaging, and cloud technology.


• Design and develop reusable components, code and document custom automation frameworks, maintain scripts, and update these items as needed to build continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring rapid availability of the product.


• Deploy and decommission client environments for multi and single tenant hosted applications following established processes and procedures.


• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for private cloud environments.


• Develop scripts to automate day to day functions within the enclave.


• Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the private cloud environments and implements: cloud services support, cloud operations, and security all private cloud operations.


• Coordinates activities with other technical personnel as appropriate.


• Execute tasks defined in the cloud computing project plans, schedules, design, development, integration, securing, documentation and deployment of using best practices in cloud computing methodologies and standards.


• Establish and comply with organizational standards and frameworks in creating and maintaining private cloud environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.


• Active DOD Secret Clearance is required


• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience scripting with Ruby and Python Software Development.


• Knowledge or experience with CloudForms and Ansible.


• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call                                                              

Desired Qualifications:

• AA or Bachelor degree preferred.


• VCA Data Center (and/or cloud) certification a plus. 


• Experience with various operating system versions on the Microsoft platform.


• Experience with configuration management and IaC tools, such as Ansible/puppet/chef.


• Experience working in the Agile methodology.


• Experience working Operations teams.


• PowerShell script or equivalent demonstrated experience.     


• Experience with software development tools.


• Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
