Santa Fe Supportive Therapy, LLC is looking for our next successful contract therapist!



Have you wanted to be in private practice but don’t want the headaches that come with it? Have you wished that you could just do what you are best at, the therapy, and not have all the hassles of meetings and bureaucracy that fill your 40-hour week? Have you wished you could make more per hour so you have to work fewer hours per week? This may be the job for you.

 



Be in a private practice setting without the additional worries about insurance networks, billing, marketing, policies and procedures etc. Everything is done for you except the therapy and related responsibilities.

 



More than 10 years of experience strongly preferred and be must be independently licensed by the State of New Mexico as a qualified mental health practitioner: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor (LMFT), or licensed clinical psychologist (PhD). Criminal Record Clearance (CYFD, local, state, and FBI) required.

 



We are looking for an experienced therapist who has specialized training in CBT, LGBTQ+, couple’s counseling, trauma, family therapy, Brainspotting, EMDR, and/or other area of focus. Our next therapist will be interested and experienced in working with ages from pre-teen and up (unless your specialization is couples and marriage counseling) and be willing to work on Saturdays or Sundays (for at least the first year). Our therapists see around 7-8 clients a day 3-4 days a week and share offices.

 



Current credentialing with major New Mexico insurance companies strongly preferred.

We strive to provide competent, culturally sensitive therapy to all local ethnicities as well as LGBT clients.

 



Responsibilities and Duties




  • Conduct outpatient mental health therapy/counseling with youth, teens, adults, couples, and families (as experience allows).

  • Keep accurate and complete EHR records in a timely manner in our cloud-based practice management system.

  • Complete initial psychosocial assessment in a timely manner

  • Complete initial treatment plan in a timely manner

  • Update treatment plan on schedule

  • Complete client discharges in a timely manner
