St. Peter's Cancer Care Center is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology provider to cover both inpatient and outpatient services. You’ll join a dedicated team of specialists providing advanced cancer treatment and compassionate care to adult patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside full-time oncologists and a robust support team.

Position Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Reason for Coverage: Temporary locum coverage while recruiting for full-time oncologists
• Dates of Coverage: As soon as credentialed
• Patient Population: Adult
• Physicians in Practice: 3 full-time Hematology/Oncology physicians
• Radiation Oncologists on Staff: 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists
• Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 5 full-time APPs
• Clinical Areas: Hematology (Inpatient & Outpatient), Oncology (Inpatient & Outpatient)
• Trauma Level: Community Hospital
• EMR System: Epic
• Facility Coverage: Flight, hotel, and mileage reimbursement (IRS standard rate)
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• New York State License – Required
