Sr. Director, Interoperability (Dallas, TX (& may work from home)) Plan, direct, & coordinate activities of the HealthMark Medical Group interoperability platform for the Release of Information in accordance with various state & federal regulatory mandates from the 21st Century Cures Act. Assess & cultivate new b2b partnerships with national health data sharing consortiums, EHRs, & HIE vendors & execute on opportunities to meet strategic goals & business needs. Drive engagement with HealthMark Group’s clients & vendor partnerships to deploy bidirectional connectivity leveraging FHIR, HL7, IHE & other current health technology standards. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer engineering or related field & 5 yrs exp. required. Must be proficient in configuring, testing, activating, & troubleshooting health records IT systems; Agile software development, project management discipline, & change management principles; healthcare IT & interoperability industry trends, including FHIR & HL7. Must possess knowledge of the 21st Century Cures Act Interoperability & Information Blocking requirements, TEFCA, HIPAA, Promoting Interoperability Program, & other regulatory initiatives designed to facilitate interoperability of healthcare IT.
