The Sr. Software Engineer supports critical warehouse and mobile device-related systems. This role builds, maintains, and enhances software for processing data gathered from devices and to help refine shipping, receiving, and triage processes for returned connected devices. The Sr. Software Engineer works with the Engineering and Product teams to build or enhance cutting-edge integrated software and hardware platforms to help automate and enhance productivity, stability, and throughput.

Job Duties:

●Work primarily in Python, PostreSQL, React, HTML, JavaScript and CSS to support critical warehouse management software systems and data pipelines using Apkudo custom software and hardware platforms.

● Enhance and debug Python applications; diagnose and solve issues with a combination of Python, PostreSQL, React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AWS

● Maintain software and work with Engineering and R&D teams to improve user experience

● Use Python, PostgreSQL, and Apkudo networking systems and processes to enhance productivity, preserve stability, ensure consistent performance, APIs, and enhanced system speed.

● Use AWS to monitor and diagnose issues and build alerts to notify stakeholders in real time

● Work on data pipeline processing requests for third-party systems.

● Develop data Aps to serve our UIs using Python and JavaScript

● Write efficient SQL queries for both the data APIs and the pipeline data processing

● Create reporting UIs for multiple product lines using React, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

● Update clients with Android/Linux-based warehouse management tools such as Zebra Scanners

● Work in an Ubuntu/Linux desktop environment

● Work in cross-functional distributed team environment

Minimum Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field; foreign equivalent degree acceptable

·        Two years experience as a Software Engineer or similar occupation

·        Must pass background check

·        Must pass coding test

·        Telecommuting allowed from DFW region
