POSITION: PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST (#664059)
LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

Will coordinate participation of Head of IMA in workshops, receptions, panels, roundtables, interviews, sessions, and bilateral meetings during the conference or international event. Develop briefings, one-pager and reports with strategic information from the company’s businesses (Crop Science, Consumer Health and Pharma) and latest scientific research on food security and nutrition, climate change, access to health, impacts of climate change (heat) on health, innovations on digital technologies to improve access to health and healthcare. Support project management in preparation of participation in selected major global conferences, such as UN Climate Change Conference, G20/B20, Davos, Fall and Spring World Bank Meetings, Munch Security Conference, other World Economic Forum meetings, etc. Undertake strategic conversations Business Units (Crop Science, Consumer Health and Pharma) to identify goals and topics for each international event. Support the development of a strategic plan containing all activities and timelines to deliver a successful presence and relevance during the international event. Hold meetings with relevant stakeholders to plan the participation of experts and representatives at different sessions, panels, workshops, etc. Conduct research and develop talking points on issues related to health and development, food security, women's health, innovation, and the SDGs as per request of Head of IMA. Undertake special research project to support the development of position papers in collaboration with the company businesses (Crop Science, Consumer Health and Pharma). Monitor reports and publications from the World Bank, World Food Program, United Nations, World Economic Forum and scholarly articles. Forster engagement with World Economic Forum – Center for Health and Healthcare.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent education in Public Relations/International Business Policy, International Trade, International Policy or a closely related field.
