DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides primary health care in collaboration with physicians.

2. Manages selected cases according to established protocols.

3. Maintains case histories, medical reports and other records.

4. Prepares treatment plans.

5. Orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures.

6. Write prescriptions according to protocols.

7. Refers acute and chronic care patients if needed.

8. Conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests.

9. Patient education counseling. Provide emotional and psychological support when needed

10. Communicate with patients family to provide advice explanations or answer questions

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from an approved school for nurse practitioners.

2. Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred.

3. National certification as Nurse Practitioner.
4. Florida license is a must. ARNP
5. Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry (will be trained on the EMR used.
