Maintenance / Engineering Manager

Salary $110,000 - $130,000 + Benefits + Bonus Potential + Paid Relocation SE USA

Looking for an Engineering manager who is looking for a rewarding position responsible for 2 facilities in the Southeast. As the Engineering Manager, youll be responsible for the leadership and management of projects (mechanical and electrical) and energy. While a degree is preferred, we will consider experience in the printing industry.

General Expectations:

Responsible for Energy Management and Project Management (Electrical and Mechanical).

Perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements. Specifically for equipment.

Determine performance and energy savings for system modifications and improvements.

Revise engineering design drawings, specifications and reports to validate energy savings.

Assist in developing plant layout in planning rearrangement of facilities, equipment and operations for better utilization of space.

Work closely with maintenance / manufacturing personnel to prevent problems with products and equipment.

Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through efficiencies.

Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences of issues in the manufacturing process.

Able to assist in reducing cost through re-engineering product/material.

Assist in the assessment of vendor/subcontractor evaluation for consideration.

Knowledgeable in process controls to be able to help troubleshoot effectively.

Lead Improvements in driving successful change.

Minimum requirements for this Maintenance / Engineering Manager position:

At least 5 years engineering experience in the Printing Industry

Team leaderships skills ability to lead inspire, and motivate

Engineering Degree preferred or job-related experience in printing.
