Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding revenue opportunities. Works with social media agencies to create innovative social media campaigns.The candidate would be tasked with conceptualizing, executing, and owning social media strategy and execution from end to end, for the brand

Exposure to European markets would be an added advantage..

  • Creating and maintaining a Social Media Marketing editorial calendar, with targeted topics outlined for different dates, as well as a plan for where and how that content will be shared
  • Analyze running campaigns and customer expectations according to past social media activity
  • Update social media content across all channels
  • Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite etc
  • Managing Social media agencies
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Generate effective Social Media Influencer Marketing campaigns, whereby powerful social users are turned into brand advocates who promote the brands products, services, etc.
  • Develop content or get it done by content developers/agencies
  • Being on top of the latest social media trends
  • Ability to create and grow social media handles/profile of key stakeholders in the organization
  • Regularly share competes and make us of latest trends to drive social media channels
  • OTB thinker, with the aim to conceptualize and drive potentially viral-able campaign
  • Online reputation management

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience as a social media manager or a similar role (minimum 3 years of experience)
  • Experience in creating social media strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Ready for frequent travels for content generation (Video & photo shoot)
