Agile Business Systems Analyst for Virginia Department of Elections

The selected candidate must be proficient in Agile practices of story writing and requirements gathering. Able to deliver written project deliverables and communicate to stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills:

Proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large projects 5 years
Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors. 5 years
Able to accurately define and capture project requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. 5 years
Able to write UAT test scripts from use cases and proficient in UAT testing. 5 years
Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks. 5 years
Able to track requirements throughout lifecycle of SDLC cycle 5 years
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA and Confluence 5 years
Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems 5 years
Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision 5 years
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 5 years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5 years
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills 5 years

Highly Desired Skills:

Election experience strongly preferred 4 years
Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certifications
