Position Title:            Technical Lead

Job description: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Review and approve design decisions, code changes and technical documentation. Provide guidance, technical expertise and support to ensure successful project delivery. Perform advanced diagnosis, examine system configuration, check customer data, UNIX system and error logs to identify the problem. Track and debug the severity production issues. Provide enhancements based on the client’s requirements. Perform thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues and enforce coding standards. Salary $161,886/year. Multiple positions available. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.

Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT, or a related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: C/C++, UNIX, Oracle PL/SQL, Perl, Python, Java, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Rating and Billing Configuration(s), Vertex Taxing applications, DBeaver, JIRA, Soap UI, XML, FileZilla, WinSCP, SVN, Putty, GitHub, Eclipse. Multiple positions available. Travel to unanticipated client locations approximately 5%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
