We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced self-starter to join our team as Financial Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. The selected candidate will provide meaningful financial expertise across the organization and act as a trusted finance business partner. Reporting to the Director, you will work closely with the leadership on various operational and strategic initiatives.
Main responsibilities include: Plans, organizes, directs and controls the accounting and finance function, including ensuring the accuracy and completeness of month-end closing and financial reporting to stakeholders. Prepare month end and yearly financial statements, financial analysis, variance analysis and key reports for senior leaderships consideration and decision making. Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and provide crucial insights and recommendations to the executive team. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and best practices to strengthen and maintain sound internal control environment. Actively participates in business proposals and provide ad-hoc financial insights to assist the executives in evaluating potential investments and expansion initiatives. Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic plan in alignment with the company's growth objectives. Demonstrate strong supervisory and leadership skills, recruit, build and manage finance staff as and when required. Play a key role in managing working capital, capital expenditure planning and financial risk mitigation. Provide accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce, accounting, or related field (CPA designation or equivalent is a plus). 7 + years of experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, auditing or other financial activities Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financials in a clear and concise manner High energy level and aptitude for problem solving Proficiency in financial software and advance excel skills Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Workplace Type: On-site only Compensation Package: 68$ to 72$ per hour (to be negotiated) for 35 hours per week 4 weeks of vacation Great benefits package Free on-site parking
