Manager, Automation Solutions

Kalmar USA Inc. (Ottawa, KS) is seeking to fill the position of Manager, Automation Solutions. Remote position. May reside anywhere in U.S. Extensive domestic (60%) and international (40%) travel required. Will be individually responsible for ensuring that Kalmar Corporation, through Kalmar USA, is able to deliver Kalmar brand automation solution project outcomes according to agreed timescales, budgets, resources, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Req.: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; five years of experience with the delivery of engineering solutions to challenges encountered during heavy equipment commissioning or service projects at port or terminal operations which included troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical problems encountered during commissioning or service engineering work on heavy equipment such as terminal tractors, forklifts, reach stacker, or cranes used in container handling activities; and two years of experience with the integration, commissioning, and implementation of cargo handling solution hardware or software during automation projects at port or terminal operations.
