Wage: $ 33.00 hourly/ 35 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

1. Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
2. Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
3. Adapt existing illustrations
4. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions
5. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
6. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
7. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
8. Work in a multidisciplinary environment
9. Co-ordinate sub-contracting
10. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
11. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
12. Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
13. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
14. Usability testing
15. Process files and paperwork

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
