Inventory Specialist

Location: Farmer's Branch, TX. (In office Policy)

Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking an inventory procurement, fulfillment, and tracking specialist to join its elite team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to a reputable and industry leading business by ensuring timely and accurate shipments.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Procure, build, and deploy new and refurbished access control hardware and software packages including shipping
• Ensure quality control for inventory
• Testing of equipment prior to shipping and upon return, including troubleshooting
• Maintain checklists of in-inventory hardware and software
• Inventory oversight, control and forecasting
• Inventory audits
• Maintain relationships with key vendors
• Schedule and track equipment shipping
• Collaborate and support of company staff
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in a professional role valuable.
• Inventory management experience, including inventory maintenance and forecasting.
• Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills; strong people skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and various business software
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, analytical, goal-oriented work style.
• Well-organized and skilled in time management

• Multi-tasking to manage multiple projects at once

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Three years of experience in inventory control preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds,
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License
• Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-time
• Department: Field Operations
• Travel IS expected 5% of the time, with mileage reimbursement / Visits to Fed-Ex/UPS drop off locations to ship equipment when necessary.
• This position DOES NOT include supervisory responsibility
• The position is based at Farmers Branch, TX office location

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.
