CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

1. Oversee data security, management, and governance.
2. Define the company's overall technology strategy to support business objectives.
3. Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
4. Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
5. Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.
6. Work closely with board members towards companys strategic growth and planning.
7. Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
8. Discover and implement new technologies leading to competitive advantage.
9. Provide support to various other departments use technology profitably.
10. Streamline and oversee system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION (INCLUDING EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE).

1. Strong educational foundation and broad technical skill base.
2. Over 10 years technology leadership experience, leading both product and multi-functional teams.
3. A bachelors degree is minimum.
4. Will have operated previously in a Senior management role with larger multi-functional leadership of teams.
5. Should have extensive experience in retail and/or insurance products and services.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT (for example, project based, permanent position): Full time, Non-seasonal, Permanent position.

HOURS PER WEEK: 35 hrs / week

WORKING SCHEDULE (regular Monday Friday or per need basis)
Monday Friday 9 am 5 pm, additional working hours as per company requirements language of work: English

WAGE: CAD$ 133, 536 + CAD/annum (85.6 CAD/hr)
