Duties: - Support FPGA systems during product development.
- Identify and support key opportunities worldwide working with Sales, Business Units, and Technology Groups worldwide.
- Synthesize and disseminate the needs and wants of our biggest consumer customer.
- Tailor technology solutions, including hardware and firmware to the customer needs while growing Analog Devices’ market share.
- Architect system solutions to customers.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key customers.
- Debug customer issues while integrating Analog Devices solutions into customer products and systems.
- Manage technical communication between customer and Business Units, presenting technical updates.
- Research technologies relevant to customer engagements.
- Investigate applications through product teardowns.
- Develop rapid prototyping solutions with customer specific hardware and software requirements.
- Evaluate and debug customer designs including signal chain, power, DSP, and schematic review.
- Provide tradeoff analysis and part selection process, and communicate findings through circuit notes and product documentation.
- Leverage understanding of product development lifecycle including failure analysis process.
Partial telecommute benefit (2 days WFH).
Requirements:
Must have a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign education equivalent) and 24 months of experience as an Electronics Engineer or related occupation identifying and tailoring technology solutions for customers. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
- Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing custom design solutions using LTSpice and MATLAB based simulations at the component level;
- DE performing bench testing hardware and software aspects of evaluation and design boards using tools like Graphical User Interface (“GUI”), oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers;
- DE defining signal chain of components including precision Analog to Digital Converters/Digital to Analog Converters (“ADCs/DACs”), Amplifiers, Low Drop Out linear regulators (“LDOs”), capacitor chargers, and voltage references for use in customer applications like capital equipment business;
- DE integrating Field Programable Gate Array (“FPGA”) and Digital Signal Processor (“DSP”) based testing in the stages of Application Specific Integrated Circuit (“ASIC”) custom development using Python; and
- DE performing debugging and failure analysis at customer site using experience in signal chain and power management.
