Senior Business Analyst, Carnival Corporation (Miami, FL). Responsible for financial systems related projects for the Finance, Shipboard Operations and other CCL Finance teams. Develop new tools, reports, and analyses, independently and collaboratively, as support to Finance business partners for financial planning, reporting and BI solutions. Identify best, efficient, and cost beneficial solutions. Provide insights on the current functionality of the applications that are used by the department as well as possible enhancements to these systems. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for project business requirements; develop business cases. Perform and/or oversee all testing activities related to financial software used in the department to ensure new system functionality works as defined and system defects are corrected prior to implementation. Ensure all systems are performing efficiently, reporting issues, and monitoring timely resolution. Support Financial Analytics team in implementation and enhancement of high-impact business reporting (i.e. scorecards, KPIs). Facilitate the data mining activities of the department and provide direction and support to identify system sources for the information. Work closely with the Finance Operations management team for departmental improvements and efficiency to formulate executive level analyses, reports and presentations. Submit/prioritize CQ defects and content management cases that impact Finance Operations. Review, monitor, facilitate and organize releases impacting applications supporting financial activity that flow through Finance Operations.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst, Finance Specialist, or a related business/financial planning and analysis occupation. Experience must include: 3 years of experience testing enterprise size financial applications; 2 years of experience in resource management, managing shipboard resources as part of project implementation; 2 years of shipboard finance operations experience, applying knowledge in accounting principles and issues; 1 year of experience in financial data analysis tools and systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, Tableau, or OBIEE; 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office programs, advance level of Excel and interactive reporting tools.

Up to 20% domestic and international shipboard travel required. Hybrid remote/in-office work schedule available.
