Job Duties:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

Develop high quality, secure, stable code for use in technical products and solutions for customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance, reuse, and localize. Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to standards. Maintain, troubleshoot, and debug code, as required. Participate in daily team scrum meetings. Participate in sprint planning sessions. Demonstrate technical product increments in sprint reviews. Research and resolve defects logged by customers or QA and document all changes made. Develop high-quality, secure, stable UI components that are modular and reusable across different platforms, devices, and software architectures in 3 different technologies: React Material UI, Qt QML, and Web Components. Customize the components with Autodesk’s design tokens to implement the company’s design system. Write unit tests for developed components. Demonstrate the components in Storybook (for MUI and Web Components) and in a custom application (Qt QML) to provide additional customer documentation. Work with QA and XD teams to make sure that the developed components are pixel perfect. For Material UI and Web Components toolkits, customize the MUI-X DataGrid for Autodesk’s design system and provide additional features required by adopting teams within Autodesk. Work with teams across Autodesk (our internal customers of the UI components) to adopt the UI components in React Material UI, Qt QML, and Web Components in Autodesk products. Answer adopting teams’ questions, write getting started and technical documentation, help onboard and train development teams on the Material UI, Web Components, and Qt QML toolkits, and help adopting teams debug and implement solutions in their applications. Develop and maintain Fusion Trust Dashboard features including authentication, UI table, advanced score calculation and charting, automation, data retrieval processing, security and compliance, testing and code quality, and performance improvement. Use technologies like TypeScript, React, Redux, MUI declarative UI, CSS, Python, and Jenkins. Assist in deployments, which require skills with Docker.
Utilize Git source control skills for all projects.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer/data science-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.

Special Requirements:

Position requires at least some experience or at least one semester of graduate level-coursework in each of the following skills:

1. Develop, troubleshoot, and debug code using C++ and Git source control on multiple operating systems - Windows, macOS and Linux.
2. Utilize proper data structures and design algorithms to provide efficient solutions for projects’ needs. Improve application performance and implement optimizations where necessary/applicable.
3. Develop high-quality, secure, stable UI components that are modular and reusable across different platforms, devices, and software architectures using React Material UI. Customize the React Material UI components with design tokens to implement the company’s design system. Write unit tests in Jest for developed components. Demonstrate the components in Storybook to provide additional customer documentation. Work with QA and XD teams to make sure developed components are pixel perfect.
4. Research and resolve defects logged by customers or QA and document all changes made. Create additional documentation when needed. Update Jira tasks with all the necessary status and acceptance criteria. Make sure that code is well documented for better maintenance.
5. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback in code reviews to ensure code meets high standards and quality.
6. Participate in daily team scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Participate in team retrospectives and feedback loops to improve in future iterations.
7. Work with Product Manager, Program Manager and team to understand and help refine functional requirements. Help define story work within areas of knowledge.
8. Construct data analysis models using Python and SQL and provide rationalized solutions.
