Position Description:
The successful candidate will provide technical mechanical engineering expertise to assist and support the ES62 Space Station Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Removal, Advanced Exploration Systems (AES) Life Support Systems (LSS), and ES62 International Space Station (ISS) Environmental Control Life Support System (ECLSS) Sustaining Engineering. Support includes, but is not limited to: test stand software design, development, troubleshooting, and documentation using LabVIEW.

Qualifications:
A degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or related technical discipline is required. A degree from an ABET-accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of an MS degree with at least 3 years of experience, or BS with at least 5 years of experience.
Required Skills:
• Certification in LABVIEW Programming.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience programming systems in LABVIEW.
• Must have at least 2 years of knowledge of thermal\fluid components, systems, and associated instrumentation.
Desired Skills:
• A working knowledge of gaseous and liquid fluid flow systems.
• A working knowledge of Aerospace flight system component testing.
