MFT Engineer (File Transfer Engineer) 100% Remote Description: The file transfer engineer will join the Global File Services-Engineering group which manages the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company to transfer file internally and externally. The file transfer engineer main responsibilities will be as follows: Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities Lead the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding, testing, change implementation and documentation Supplier Call Notes: Looking for 3 file transfer engineers Open to 100% remote 5 day work week: Sunday (12am-8am EST) then 4 business days (7am-3pm EST) 6 month contract at this time Shared files transfer File scanning capabilities OpenText BizLink Linux OS Scripting (Shell, Python) is a big plus Financial services experience is a plus but not required College degree is not required if candidate has relevant professional experience
