- High School graduate or equivalent required. Completion of Medical Assistant program and/or an LPN Program.
- Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA preferred.
- Previous experience working in a medical office required.
- Previous mental health experience preferred.
- Problem solvingability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Ability to communicate and make safe judgment calls in stressful situations.
- Interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality, remain open to others ideas and exhibit willingness to try new things.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner in both verbal and written format and models a positive teamwork attitude.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle volatile and potentially emergent situations.
- Ability to multi-task, use time efficiently, and prioritize appropriately.
- Must have basic computer skills using Microsoft Office products and EHR.
