Description: Looking for an Automation Software Engineer for the Card Tech Partnerships team. The candidate should have a strong background in backend development with a focus on automation testing. This role will involve working on a re-platforming effort, transforming manual testing processes into automated ones. Responsibilities: Work with development teams to understand architectural requirements. Develop automated testing solutions using Java, Cypress, and other relevant tools. Work towards achieving full automation of testing processes including unit tests, integration tests, and component testing. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure project success. Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on automation testing. Experience in Java programming language. Experience with test automation tools Cypress. Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda. Experience with Gherkin and Cucumber for behavior-driven development. Previous experience in the financial services industry. Preference will be given to candidates located in Richmond who can work onsite with the team at West Creek. However, consideration may be given to candidates willing to relocate.
