Contract W2 Role Responsibilities: Analyze existing software applications and tools, recommending new technologies and methodologies to improve performance and usability. Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new software tools to extend or replace existing capabilities. Provide full lifecycle database design and software development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, supporting technical writers and testers, configuration, and maintenance. Maintain existing custom-developed software and support COTS/GOTS software products as needed. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience. Experience: 5+ years of related experience. Security Clearance: Secret clearance to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in developing scalable software applications with experience in analytics using large data sets. Strong expertise in configuration management and big data technologies, with proven ability to manage large data sets. Proficiency in building custom web-based applications utilizing the .NET framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with JavaScript and various JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Kendo UI, Bootstrap, Knockout JS, Moment JS, and Microsoft SignalR. Preferred Skills: Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work. Strong written and business communication skills. Ability to interpret specifications, troubleshoot, and create software solutions. Good working knowledge of integrating web applications. Passion for continuous improvement and innovation, with ease working in an agile environment with little supervision.
