Our hospital has served Central Virginia since 1966 and is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join our team! We were named a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital in the nation by Thomson Reuters, and recognized by HealthGrades for being ranked among the Top 5% in the nation for emergency medicine, critical care, stroke, gastrointestinal care, and prostatectomy. 

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Neurohospitalist 
• Active Virginia Medical License
• Active Virginia DEA
• ACLS and BLS certifications 

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient Neurology consultation service
  
  
  
  • No code stroke response
  • Neuro emergencies are handled via teleneurology
  
  
• One APP is available M-F
  
  
  
  • EMR is Epic
  
  

Schedule:

• Typical schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM

  • Rounding duties are required
