Interior AutoCAD Designer / Sales Consultant

This Interior AutoCAD Designer/Sales Consultant will be responsible for the overall relationship building, profitability, effectiveness, and efficiency in providing contract furniture design services for various clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of office furniture products; including thorough understanding of features, benefits and limitations of various pieces as they fit in various office environments to optimize performance on all client projects. The Interior AutoCAD Designer/Sales Consultant will ensure that all client expectations are met with a positive and professional demeanor. This candidate will also be responsible for coordinating design services, reviewing financial statements, and market design services.

This is an in-person, onsite role in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs, preferences and budget.
Build, foster and maintain account relationships
Conducting site assessments and translating those to insights into design solutions in AutoCAD.
Ability to create detailed floor plans and layout that optimize space utilization while considering the functional needs of the space.
Manage projects from conception to completion; including coordinating with suppliers, overseeing installation and ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget.
Some assistance with sales efforts by presenting design solutions that highlight products.
Understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Interior Design experience
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a MUST.
Extreme attention to detail is required for accuracy in designs and orders.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education:

Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or related field
