Job Responsibilities
• Sales Strategy & Policy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies and policies to drive revenue growth, ensure market competitiveness, and meet the company’s long-term objectives for custom cabinetry and related services.
• Team Leadership & Management: Lead, manage, and oversee the sales team, setting clear performance goals and expectations. Assign duties, provide guidance, and ensure the team meets sales targets.
• Recruitment & Training: Identify staffing needs within the sales department. Lead the hiring process, including interviewing, onboarding, and developing sales professionals. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure high performance and growth within the team.
• Market Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to understand consumer demand, forecast sales volumes, and identify growth opportunities. Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies as needed.
• Vendor & Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, partners, and high-value clients. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure high-quality products are available for resale.
• Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Collaborate with senior management to plan sales budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor financial performance. Ensure the sales team operates within budget and consistently meets revenue and profitability targets.
• Customer Experience Management: Oversee customer service strategies, ensuring the sales team delivers exceptional client experiences. Address escalated customer inquiries and issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction and client retention.
• Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans when necessary. Regularly report sales metrics to senior management.
• Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and outreach efforts. Ensure the company’s offerings are effectively marketed to meet client needs and boost sales conversions.
• Growth & Development Opportunities: Foster a positive and growth-oriented sales environment by encouraging team collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development opportunities for all team members.
Job Requirements
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the cabinetry, construction, or home renovation sectors.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to upholding our company’s values of quality, ethics, and customer satisfaction.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape within the industry.
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
