Repair, test and perform electrical maintenance and programming of robotics and welding equipment (Fanuc & Lincoln). Provide PLC support to plant maintenance, operations, and act as a technical leader among the maintenance group. Follow and develop standardized work instructions. Provide controls support to the plant floor including troubleshooting, programming and integration work. Conveyor systems – Programming and troubleshooting. Install or replace motors and drives as required. Develop / modify HMI screens and layouts as required Follow all OSHA and plant safety rules including, lock-out tag-out, etc. Perform electrical duties such as wiring equipment and troubleshooting electrical issues Read, interpret, and create equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties. Support Operational Performance Metrics and meet targets for improvement. Project management and lead of plant floor improvement controls projects as assigned by management. Assist in continued development of the training program for maintenance employees. Monitor the line and robot operations to identify opportunities to reduce line cycle time Attend all company-provided training for personal development as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor – Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.
Experience: Two (2) years as a Controls Engineer, Plant Facility Engineer or Specialist, Mechatronics Engineer or related engineering role;
Experience must include the following:
1. AB RS Logix—Control Logix and Compact Logix
2. HMI Development and Programming
3. AB PowerFlex, Siemens G120 Drives, and Siemens TIA Portal
4. Fanuc robotics programming and electrical maintenance
