Job Overview


We are hiring a Mechanical AutoCAD Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at DCS Group. As a Mechanical AutoCAD Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using AutoCAD software. This is a full-time position based in Dera Bassi, Punjab, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD software to create and modify detailed drawings
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and modify mechanical drawings using AutoCAD software
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to review and modify designs
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings in accordance with project requirements
  • Perform calculations and analyze data to optimize design performance
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Update drawings to reflect design changes and modifications
  • Conduct quality control checks on drawings to identify and resolve any issues
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver work within specified deadlines
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in AutoCAD
