Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automotive Gear Shaft & Gear Division HOD to join our team at DCS Group. As the HOD, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Gear Shaft & Gear Division. This includes managing a team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and achieving business targets. The job is based in Dera Bassi, Punjab, India and is a full-time position. Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on Gear Shaft & Gear Division
  • Expertise in gear manufacturing processes, such as machining, heat treatment, and surface finishing
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proven track record in managing projects and meeting targets
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the Gear Shaft & Gear Division, ensuring effective and efficient operations
  • Oversee the development and execution of divisional strategies, goals, and targets
  • Manage and coordinate projects within the division, including resource allocation and budget oversight
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve divisional performance
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
