TITLE: CONTRACT NURSE (Floating)
LOCATION: Syracuse, NY

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care and support during the contract period.

Job Summary:
The Contract Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring, following established protocols and procedures. This role requires a collaborative approach, working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best patient outcomes. Contract starting immediately through end of year to beginning of next year.

Position is a floating nurse position. This person will operate in Syracuse NY and rotate occasionally to the Camillus, NY.
(15 minutes west of Syracuse).

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patient health, develop care plans, and administer treatment.
Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety.
Provide compassionate and empathetic patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in [State].
+years of nursing experience, preferably in [specialty area, e.g., critical care, ER, pediatrics].
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
